Cronos uses the Google Calendar API and Zoom OAuth to authenticate users and provide them with the ability to manage calendar events and conduct meetings. When you grant Cronos Calendar access to your Google and Zoom accounts, we will only use this information to provide you with the services you have requested. This includes securely storing your Zoom OAuth tokens using encryption for the purpose of creating or modifying Zoom meetings, as well as managing events in your Google Calendar.

We are committed to complying with the Google API Services & Zoom User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our privacy policy reflects our commitment to protect user privacy and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

 

We take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal information. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

Google Calendar Integration

When you connect your Google Calendar to CronosCal, we access and use your Google data in accordance with this policy and Google’s terms of service.

What Google Data We Access:

Calendar information: We access your calendar metadata, including calendar names, descriptions, and settings to display available calendars for integration.

Event information: We read your calendar events to check availability and prevent double bookings when scheduling appointments.

Basic profile information: We access your Google account’s basic profile information (name and email) to identify your account and facilitate the integration.

How We Use Your Google Data:

Availability checking: We use your calendar events to determine your availability and prevent scheduling conflicts.

Event creation: We create new calendar events in your Google Calendar when appointments are booked through our service.

Calendar synchronization: We keep your CronosCal appointments synchronized with your Google Calendar to ensure consistency.

Calendar display: We may display relevant calendar information within our interface to help you manage your schedule.

How We Share Your Google Data:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google Calendar data to third parties.

Appointment participants: Basic event information (time, duration, title) may be shared with individuals who book appointments with you through our platform.

Authorized service providers: We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate our service, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal requirements: We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

Data Retention and Deletion:

While your account is active: We retain your Google Calendar data as long as your account remains active and connected to Google Calendar.

When you disconnect: If you disconnect your Google Calendar integration, we will delete your stored Google Calendar data within 30 days.

Account deletion: When you delete your CronosCal account, all associated Google Calendar data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

You can request immediate deletion of your Google Calendar data by contacting us at support@cronoscal.com.

Your Rights Regarding Google Data:

Revoke access: You can revoke our access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account settings or by disconnecting the integration in CronosCal.

Access your data: You can request information about what Google Calendar data we have stored by contacting support@cronoscal.com.

Correct your data: You can update or correct your calendar information directly through Google Calendar, and changes will be reflected in our service.

Data portability: You can export your appointment data from CronosCal at any time through your account settings.

If you have concerns about our handling of your Google data, you can contact us at support@cronoscal.com or file a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority.

Security of Google Data: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your Google Calendar data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. We follow Google’s API Services User Data Policy and maintain appropriate safeguards for all user data.

Compliance and Updates: This Google Calendar integration policy complies with Google’s API Services User Data Policy and applicable privacy laws. We may update this policy from time to time, and will notify you of significant changes through our service or by email.

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time, so you may wish to check it each time you submit personal information to Cronos Calendar. The latest version of our privacy policy will always be available on our website.
